- Each finalist presents onstage, followed by Q&A with the VC judges.
- The winner is chosen by a proportional vote of the VC judges, plus an audience vote weighted equal to one judge. Ties are broken by a designated organizer representative.

FAQ
Do we have to accept the investment if we win?
Yes. If you accept a semifinalist or finalist spot to compete live at Predict 2026, you must accept the SAFE investment on the published terms if selected as the winner. If you are not comfortable with those terms, please do not accept a competition spot.
Can we negotiate the valuation cap?
No. Terms are identical for all participants and fixed in advance.
What if we cannot travel to New York?
Finalists must pitch in person. A travel stipend is provided to help cover costs.
We are not incorporated yet. Can we still apply?
Yes, but you must be able to incorporate and issue a SAFE before funding.
Who sees our application?
The organizing team and participating investment partners. Firms may reach out directly even if you are not selected as a finalist.
